Biography

Gabriel is a Post-Doctorate Research Associate in the coastal modeling group. Gabriel’s current work involves assessing the wave energy of the USA, characterizing the wave climate of the Salish Sea, and evaluating the potential effects of a changing climate in the circulation of the Puget Sound. He is interested in computational fluid mechanics at all scales and is always looking for new things to learn.

Research Interests

  • Marine Renewable Energy (waves and tidal)
  • Coastal hazards and climate change impacts on coastal communities
  • Wave runup
  • Wave-current interaction
