Mr. Staines has been with PNNL’s Marine Sciences Laboratory since 2016. Currently he is part of the Triton Initiative, which is a DOE sponsored program to support technologies for studying animal interactions around marine renewable energy (MRE) devices. Mr. Staines has experience applying remote sensing technology for numerous fish monitoring applications including around marine hydrokinetic turbines and dam removal in large river systems.
